USE CASE · DEADLINES
The licence expired in a folder you never opened.
Renewals, registrations, permits and filings become dated cards with lead time — so the reminder arrives while there's still time to act.

What it costs you today
- Annual things are impossible to remember precisely because they're annual.
- The reminder that does arrive lands eleven months before it's useful.
- The penalty is always larger than the task would have been.
How Nova prepares it.
Forward the notice or capture it by hand. Nova reads out the expiry or filing date, what it's for, and how much notice you'd want.
Nothing nags you for eleven months. The card sleeps until the lead time opens, then appears in your morning list.
The renewal email, the reminder, or the calendar block is already written. One tap and it's handled — or moved.
Example previews. Nova prepares — nothing sends, pays or changes without your tap.
What you need
Forward mail to your private Nova address, or capture something by hand. No connected account needed. Connecting Gmail, Outlook, calendar or WhatsApp so Nova watches automatically is available on Plus.
See all plansWhat Nova can’t do here yet
- Nova can't check a government or regulator portal for you. It works from what you forward or capture, and from calendars you connect.
- Recurring dates repeat only when the notice says they do, or when you tell Nova the cadence.
Questions people actually ask.
- How far ahead does Nova remind me?
- It reads a sensible lead time from the notice — longer for anything with a queue or a fee — and you can change it on the card.
- Can it add the date to my calendar?
- It prepares the calendar entry for you to approve. Connecting Google or Outlook calendar so Nova writes to it directly is available on Plus.
- What kinds of deadlines does this cover?
- Anything with a date on a document — vehicle licences, professional registrations, insurance renewals, tax filings, permits, school forms.
- Does it work without connecting anything?
- Yes. Forwarding to your private Nova address and manual capture work on the Free Preview.
